Kirk Kleckner (CPA, MBA, ABV, AM) is a Founder and the Managing Principal of ValuationUSA®.  Kirk primarily practices in the areas of:

  • Acquisition and Merger Transactions
  • Business Valuation
  • Cost Segregation
  • Litigation Support
  • Business and Owner Succession Planning

Kirk’s experience includes:

  • Seven years as Chief Financial Officer for a well respected top 50 dealership group known for its world class customer experiences and business processes
  • Nineteen years with an accounting firm as its Chief Operating Officer, Director of Business Valuation and Litigation Support services and shareholder
  • Serving hundreds of companies in an array of industries including but not limited to:  apartments, bank, casualty insurance, convenience store, drug store, dealership, distribution,  construction, family limited entities, franchise, grocery, health care, insurance, land development, manufacturing, mining exploration and development, non-profit, parking lots, professional services, reinsurance, service, real estate,  retail, technology, tool and die, trucking, value added resellers, and warehouse

Kirk is a CPA, MBA and has professional accreditations including:

  • Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
  • Accredited Member (AM) of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA)

Kirk’s expertise leverages both his professional and hands-on industry experience.  Kirk’s practical experience includes buying, selling and integrating of businesses; instituting process management and rationalization; implementing business intelligence systems; and business and owner tax planning.

Kirk is a qualified expert witness with experience in complex business litigation.

Kirk was raised on an Iowa farm, received Accounting and Business Administration B.A. degrees from Wartburg College and a MBA from the University of Minnesota. He believes strongly in giving back to the community and has served as the President of a college student body, St. Paul Jaycees and his church council.
